About Us
At Briandez Legacy Trust, we are dedicated to fostering sustainable conservation efforts and education initiatives across Southern Africa.
Our journey began in memory of the late Brian Michael Desilets who was an avid wildlife lover. His passing left a huge void within the family, especially for his brothers Tim and David, who shared a great deal of time in nature together. Both brothers decided that the best way to celebrate Brian’s legacy was to establish a Trust that would focus on conservation and education initiatives in Southern Africa.
In 2023, after much research and vetting, we sent our first tranche of donations to several conservation and education projects based in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Mission Statement
The Briandez Legacy Trusts mission is to:
Facilitate the protection and growth of threatened land animals and avian species
Partnering with non-government organizations (NGO’s) for the growth and long-term preservation of conservation areas
Assist with the provision of education at various levels that will create conservation awareness and initiatives
Support conservation research and possible implementation of the findings thereof
